I’ve been very busy with school and work. Life is a bit overwhelming at the moment, lots of projects due, teaching myself crap.. and failing.. It’s stressing me out. Last week I just about cried every day of the week, it was horrible. I contemplated some terrible ideas in my head.. which I will not discuss. I had a major breakdown – and visited my moms grave for some guidance. It was pretty intense. I feel awful just thinking about it again. I got over what I was dealing with – it was me failing on php – and I’m thankfully back to normal now.

My birthday is coming up quick. I’m going downtown clubbing this time. I haven’t done the Toronto clubbing scene thing in a while.  I felt like it was greatly needed. LOL I’ve decided on a 25 and over bar. Though half of my party is under 25, I’m sure the club wont decline a bunch of pretty girls .. ya know? .. well I hope! OR there’s always somewhere else. I decided on the 25+ place because I am so sick of touchy guys at the club thinking they can just come up behind you and rub their junk on your ass/back. I’m over that part of my life. The bars/clubs around my area are usually filled with 19 year olds that always manage to disappoint me.. I’m too old to go out in my area. LOL

ANYWAY, my summer has been pretty awesome. Been working lots, traveling, etc. After my 2nd year of school was done in April, went to Vegas to celebrate… well not really celebrate.. but maybe to hit off the summer. May was wicked.. The girls and I stayed at Treasure Island this time… for 4 days… and then travelled to California for another 3 days. The trip was pretty amazing. This year visited Rain on the first night, 2nd night we spent at XS, 3rd night was at Marquee & the 4th night we spent at Moon. Nightclubs were amazing as usual. I absolutely fell in love with the Cosmopolitan and Marquee… fabulously beautiful. Hotel and nightclub were so amazing. We had the best time there and met some great people too… HA!

I could go on and on about what happened, and what else we did while we were there, but I’m really too lazy to get into it.. and it’s not something I want to discuss on here.. just incase anyone gets offended/etc… but if you would like to know, you can ask. All I have to say about Vegas is, LADIES get a hookup from a local promoter there.. it’s worth it to get yourself and your friends into whatever club you want to go to… entry, drinks.. free.

California was also pretty good. We laid low most of the time because we were still recovering. I was terribly sick too, it was pretty awful… BUT I still made the most of it

The rest of the summer went by pretty quick too.. long weekend cottage partying, camping, so many concerts [ie NKOTBSB], summer BBQ’s… working…

I can’t believe it’s already August.. and school is 1 month away! AHH.. CRAZY!

So my girl Sam and I are ending summer with a big bang.. and going to Las Vegas. HAHA I know.. again. YEP. SO WHAT? ;) We are heading down Sept 1st until Sept 6th. 6 days [5 nights] of pure craziness! Staying at the MGM Grand… for Labour Day weekend festivities… I hope everything goes as well as it always does… There’s so many things, places, DJ’s, pools, etc I want to do. I hope it all works out. My friend isn’t as much as a drinker as I am.. but she’s been with me last year.. and she seemed pretty good.

I’m pretty stoked for this trip.. I shouldn’t really be going on another trip… but you only live once right?

I’ve been working full time since April… but now that the Garden Centre has closed for the season, my hours at work have drastically gone down to 16-28 hours. BOOO! Oh well. It allows me to have a life for the rest of the summer! HAHA

Last weekend I went up to Parry Sound to go camping. It’s so beautiful there. Such a nice feeling waking up with not a care in the world, opening your tent on to the lake. Pretty! Nothing like that here that’s for sure.

And last but not least news… I’m going to Las Vegas again! I’m so friggen excited, I can’t wait! We’re going August 25th until the 29th. 5 nights baby! 6 days of pure partying. AHHHH There’s so much that I want to see and stuff I wanna see again. I don’t know how this trip is gonna top last Vegas’ trip! I’m sure it will.

I’m back to working full time at work now, since it’s the gardening season again Life has been pretty hectic, but I can handle it knowing in the end I’ll be getting what I want. I can sacrifice some things, like being social and sleep. LOL

What’s coming up for the summer? I’m doing a Hike for Hospice with my family. So if anyone wants to donate money, let me know Going to New Kids on the Block  on June 11th and 12th at Casino Rama. Wedding on June 19th … and Seeing Rihanna August 5th as well. Summer shall be good. I really want to see Lady Gaga and Bon Jovi… but we’ll see about that later.. Tickets are ridiculously expensive!!!

Also at the end of May, I’m going to Niagara Falls for my girls bachelorette party. It’s going to be NUTS! We’re going to a male stripclub I’ve been to many stripclubs before, but always girls… I’m kind of scared to see what these men will be doing. HAHA But I know it’s going to be crazy. Ah ahahaha.

May 15-18 – MAY 2-4 WEEKEND ;) (Victoria Day holiday). Going to Blue Mountain for the weekend like we do every year. It’s nice to get away from the normal and have a mini holiday, drinking with Friends ;)

OHHH, My dad got his new car last weekend! He got a Smart fortwo car ;) It’s a pretty sweet, and so much fun to drive. It’s pretty unreal  Check out my flickr, I posted 1 picture of it.. there will probably be more to come whenever I upload my new pictures from my cam.

TV has taken over my life too. I’ve been obsessed with everything on the Discovery Channel. ESPECIALLY Dirty Jobs. Oh man, that show is fucking hilarious. Been watching CSI at least 4 times a day too. I like that it is on so much after I get home from work. It’s relaxing. Speaking of CSI, tomorrow/today (Thurs 15th) is Grissoms last day!! I’m definitely tuning into it tonight.

Monday I also picked up a classic Wii remote controller. I’m playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. A classic. It’s still fun to play even after all these years. By far one of the best classic games out there.

Sunday I ended up getting my new iPods. LOVE. It pretty much made my whole week. To answer the questions I got on my previous entry asking why do I have 2 iPods. It’s because I originally upgraded to the 160GB because my library wont fit on any smaller iPods. I have an obsession with music, and can’t bear not having it ALL with me. I had a nano as well because I got it for only $50 from a friend, and thought it was worth snatching that deal. I use the nano mainly for the gym. I would rather not bring the Classic iPod there because I fear ruining it. LOL ….. hope that answers the question.

BTW Gelaskins are amazing!!! I ordered a few earlier this week, and they came in today. I posted them on my flickr account. So check them out!! I’m pleased with the way they turned out. This one was my first iPod with Gelaskins a year ago or so. I love their designs. They are just so unique.

With all this hype about the Twilight movie, I felt the need to jump on the bandwagon. So I bought the book last week, finished it in 2 nights, and now am on to the 2nd book, New Moon. I’m surprised to say I actually really liked it. I can’t wait to see what happens in the series. Tomorrow I am seeing it with my friend Sam. So super excited!!!!

I Haven’t been up to that much lately. Mostly working and going out. Same stuff. Work has been busy. Now working 40 hours a week regularly and getting use to it heh. I am disappointed in myself that I haven’t gone to the gym in a week though. Oops. Since I’ve been working late until 10pm, afterwards I really don’t feel like going. I’ll try to set a new goal that will make me go. This week I don’t work later, so hopefully that will be enough for me. AND I’ll make my friend go with me! She hasn’t been in a while too.

I finally got my pre-ordered game of Guitar Hero World Tour. AND I love it! Guitar Hero never seems to disappoint me. A lot of really good songs to play. Though I have yet to play online. I’m kinda scared to join a band or start a challenge for fear that I am not good enough. LOL I’ve seen some expert players, and man, I would get my ass handed to me.. BUT if you have the game (for Wii), please add me! My friend code is in my flickr Still on the topic of video games. I also have been playing Animal Crossing City Folk. I’ve been playing Animal Crossing on my DS for 2 years straight. Am completely obsessed with it. So City Folk is not any different. Same things on the new game, plus a new option to travel to the city. The game is also works with the new Wii Speak (allows players to hear you while you are online). I bought that along with the game, just gotta find out when my friends are online so I can test out that option. I think that will be interesting. hehe My friend code is also on my flickr for that game.

My left wrist is starting to hurt (prob from playing GH4), so I’ll leave it at this. Bye!

Things have been okay I guess. Been working lots mostly and not going out as much. Since school has started up, everyone has dropped off the face of the earth. All the summer hotspots aren’t hot anymore, people have vanished. Everyone isn’t up for going out anymore. Now that the cold weather has hit, it’s worse. It makes me sad.

One thing that I am looking forward to is my birthday next weekend!!! I’m going downtown and staying in a hotel etc. Should be fun times. Last year we did the same kind of thing, but with more. Didn’t turn out quite how I would’ve wanted it to. This year is more low key, more intimate ;) lmao… Haven’t decided where to go yet. Maybe Circa (my fave) or Republik.. who knows. Or somewhere where we can get cheap bottle service. That always makes the night good :/

Oh, one interesting thing that has happened to me…. A few weeks ago I was stopped by the police. I wasn’t in my town or anywhere I knew.. and was lost trying to find my friends house, took a wrong turn, made a U turn… and was stopped. This was up in Scugog (Durham Region still). I told the guy I was trying to find my friends house and was lost. The guy told me there was suspicious actions going around and a neighbour called the police saying there was someone wondering around their property. I told them I had no idea what they were talking about and didn’t know anything. AND since I forgot the address, the guy didn’t believe anything I told him, he then went to the other side of the car, the window was open, and he told me to find the insurance, papers etc.. and he told me to open the door (passenger side). I then said to him (knowing my rights), “aren’t you not allowed to do that”  “you’re not allowed to do that without a warrant/court order” (something along those lines).. he then got really pissed at me, demanded me to get out of the car and told me I was under arrest. He basically shoved me out of the car, started feeling me up, innappropriately, asking if I was carrying any weapons.. it was obvious I was not.. then he put me in the back of the SUV cruiser. FOR 2 HOURS…. It was such a traumatizing experience. More back up came, they all harassed me saying I was trafficking drugs, and how much of a criminal I am, etc.. FYI: I have NOTHING on my record, I am clean, I have never done anything in my life to EVER be in trouble with the law. I’ve never even gotten a speeding ticket or anything etc.. This was such bullshit. They got a hold of my friend that I was looking for, he was just down the road at a house.. I missed it.. Even when he showed up, they still kept me for longer…. Ugh

I’ve heard SO many stories about the Durham Regional police, and never really believed that they were bad or anything, but this has really opened up my eyes. This could happen to anyone. Especially the innocent, maybe even more. They should fucking grow some brains and catch REAL criminals. It’s no excuse to do this to an innocent bystander who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Such stupidity. I am not impressed. Why am I wasting my tax dollars on this?

PS: From that night I was under “arrest”…..I managed to get out of the handcuffs from behind me. I had the biggest itch and just HAD to scratch it.. I have no idea how I got my hands out of it.. but that was the only funny part of the night lol
