I’m due for an update. I’m all done my first year of school
2nd semester went alright. It was intense, but I got through it. Marks are in April 30th, so we’ll see… I know I totally bombed 2 of my classes (in the 60′s?).. not as good as I wanted to get this semester, but what can ya do. I returned my macbook pro back to the school since we had the option on either continuing the mobile learning program, buying that notebook out or buying your own. I chose to buy my own. I want the new model. So for the summer I’ll be saving up for a brand new 15″ i7 macbook pro. Mmmmm hmmm, such a sexxxy computer.
I’m back to working full time at work now, since it’s the gardening season again
Life has been pretty hectic, but I can handle it knowing in the end I’ll be getting what I want. I can sacrifice some things, like being social and sleep. LOL
What’s coming up for the summer? I’m doing a Hike for Hospice with my family. So if anyone wants to donate money, let me know
Going to New Kids on the Block on June 11th and 12th at Casino Rama. Wedding on June 19th
… and Seeing Rihanna August 5th as well. Summer shall be good. I really want to see Lady Gaga and Bon Jovi… but we’ll see about that later.. Tickets are ridiculously expensive!!!
Also at the end of May, I’m going to Niagara Falls for my girls bachelorette party. It’s going to be NUTS! We’re going to a male stripclub
I’ve been to many stripclubs before, but always girls… I’m kind of scared to see what these men will be doing. HAHA But I know it’s going to be crazy. Ah ahahaha.

I went to an orientation for college today with my dad. It all went really well. We asked questions about the program, saw students work and portfolios, and went on a school tour. Pretty full day even though it was only for 2 hours. I loved everything I saw. The program I’m taking you get use of your own laptop, which is a Macbook Pro btw
… There are no exams *Thumbs up* The program is all about projects, etc.. You learn everything media based basically. Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Web Design, Graphic Design.. etc. Looks like a good program. There is a placement at the end, so you get a bit of experience in the end at a company too. At the school it includes a bus pass within Durham (where I am), and gym membership
Sounds like a pretty sweet deal. HAHA & when I was at the school I saw a bunch of people I already know and some of my friends are taking a new program in the fall too. I’ll have some people I already know going to school. BONUS!
;P
Anyway, I went to Kingston on the 6th for Andrea‘s Bday. I had a really great time. Lots of partying!! My fave. HAHA. It’s always good to get away from the normal. I love to travel so much. I’m planning on going back next week. So more fun to come! I can’t wait. This time, no crazy partying drinking… I think at least
Planning on seeing Knowing. I love Nicolas Cage! His movies never disappoint me.
Last week I got a new laptop!
I got this one from Best Buy it was on sale then. I picked it up last Thursday night. I’m pretty happy with it. It runs perfectly, so smooth and quick. I never thought I’d love a PC again. HAHAHAHA… I do miss my Mac OS though.
oh well, soon September will come and I can use it again. har har. Laptops are so convenient, love it. I’m not use to the webcam though. Sometimes I get freaked out that someone can see me. I’ve always had my webcam disconnected on my desktop, that’s just me being paranoid. A few weeks ago they had a episode on CSI (with Diddy btw) and they could access a stolen laptops webcam remotely.. that was freaky HAHA I know that’s all Hollywood though
IN MAY I am planning a trip to see Laurie in Montreal!!!!!! At the end of the month for her birthday. I haven’t seen her in a while. Like 2 years maybe? I forget. So I’m pretty stoked about that. Should be fun!!!
Umm, and I dunno what else…. ttyl

Upgraded my WordPress to 2.7 the other day, and what I must say is that it is a lot easier to navigate. I love the new changes they have done to the dashboard. It’s perfect
Upgrade #2 – I really want to upgrade my current BlackBerry Pearl to the new BlackBerry Storm. My only dilemma is that I still have a contract with my current provider, and I would have to pay the total phone price. Which is $599. Way overpriced for my liking. I’ve looked at forums to see if there is anyway to get it for cheaper, and there is one way. I would have to call client care, and basically demand that I get some sort of discount. I’ve read that some people have gotten from $50-400 credit. It all depends on luck, and if the CSR is willing to go out of their way for you. *sigh. I think it would still mean I’d have to front the entire sum though. Which I do not have right now. Ugh…. who knows
Upgrade #3 – My computer has been pissing me off lately. I always go through this with every one of my computers I’ve had in the past. They break down at the year mark. BUT thankfully my computer has made it past that. BUY MAC! .. but it doesn’t have enough memory for the all the things I do on it. I like multi-tasking, and like having everything running at once, for convenience. I find I have to “Force quit” a lot of apps, because my computer isn’t running fast enough & I wait a while for a lot of things. It’s annoying me. I’ve almost bought a new laptop through Dell… even when I thought I couldn’t bare to switch back to PC.. PC’s are cheap! So now I’ve been looking into Referb’d MacBook Pros.. You save A LOT of money. Sometimes even over a $1000… you get the same warranty too and the same option for AppleCare.
I gotta win the lottery or marry a very wealthy man. LMAO. jk… not about the lottery thing though
I bought my Trans-Siberian Orchestra tickets on the weekend. I managed to snag floor seats. $150! The concert is on December 26th. I am so excited and cant wait to see my dad’s reaction when I give them to him. EEEEEE! It’s killing me to keep this from him! Christmas is so close now. I can’t believe it’s only next week! December has really flown by!!! THANK GOD
